Our Healing Environment

We have invested a great deal of effort in constructing a Healing Environment at the Healing Experience facility. The colors, lighting and music are designed to facilitate your healing and recovery. We have attempted to bring all available technologies together to achieve this purpose, including consulting on Feng Shui.

We feel that our facility provides a lightness and subtle support that perfectly complements our therapeutic intention.

The Healing Experience VITARIUM

The entrance to the Healing Experience is unique to health care offices anywhere. Our entrance is built about a conservatory filled with plants and light. This not an affectation, a focused effort to increase the efficacy of your healing experience.

Dr. Gunter refers to this room as the “Vitarium”. Just as an aquarium holds Water and a Terrarium contains earth, the Vitarium gathers and holds Vitality or, to use the Chinese terms, Healthy Chi. The elements of the room combined with its location relative to the compass, concentrate the Invigorating and Soothing balance of Chi.

You will notice the effect as soon as you enter the space. Immediately you will begin to calm down. If you take a moment to look, you will feel the ease and relaxation begin. In fact when it was first built, we had a bench in there. But we had to remove it, everybody was hanging out there and forgetting to sign in.

Further improvements are planned, but for now it is working just fine. Come and see for yourself.
